Simplificar expresiones

5th Grade

Alabama Course of Study Standards: 1

Write, explain, and evaluate simple numerical expressions involving the four operations to solve up to two-step problems. Include expressions involving parentheses, brackets, or braces, using commutative, associative, and distributive properties.

Arkansas Academic Standards: 5.OA.1

Use grouping symbols including parentheses, brackets, or braces in numerical expressions, and evaluate expressions with these symbols

Note: Expressions should not contain nested grouping symbols such as [4 + 2(10 + 3)] and they should be no more complex than the expressions one finds in an application of the associative or distributive property (e.g., (8 + 7) × 2 or {6 × 30} + {6 × 7}).

Arizona - K-12 Academic Standards: 5.OA.1

Use parentheses and brackets in numerical expressions, and evaluate expressions with these symbols (Order of Operations).

Common Core State Standards: Math.5.OA.1 or 5.OA.1

Ohio's Learning Standards: 5.OA.1

Use parentheses in numerical expressions, and evaluate expressions with this symbol. Formal use of algebraic order of operations is not necessary.

New York State Next Generation Learning Standards: 5.OA.1

Apply the order of operations to evaluate numerical expressions.
e.g.,
  • 6 + 8 ÷ 2
  • (6 + 8) ÷ 2

Tennessee Academic Standards: 5.OA.1

Use parentheses and/or brackets in numerical expressions and evaluate expressions having these symbols using the conventional order (Order of Operations).
